Nylon characteristics

1. It has excellent mechanical properties, high mechanical strength and good toughness. As a synthetic fiber, the most prominent advantage of nylon is that its abrasion resistance is higher than all other fibers, 10 times higher than cotton, 20 times higher than wool, and a little polyamide fiber can be added to the blended fabric to greatly improve its abrasion resistance. Wear resistance; When stretched to 3-6%, the elastic recovery rate can reach 100%; it can withstand tens of thousands of times of bending without breaking.
2. It has excellent self-lubriC-A-Ting properties and good friction resistance. Nylon has good self-lubriC-A-Ting properties and low friction coefficient.
3. It has excellent heat resistance and excellent weather resistance.
4. It has excellent electrical insulation properties. Nylon has high volume resistance and high breakdown voltage. It is an excellent electrical and electrical insulation material.
5. It has water absorption, and nylon has high water absorption, which can easily lead to changes in product size and performance. However, there are terminal amino groups and carboxyl groups at the end of the main chain of polyamide macromolecules, which have certain reactivity under certain conditions. Therefore, it can be chemically and physically modified by blocking, grafting, blending, reinforcement and filling to overcome the size and performance changes due to large water absorption.
